Even though I live in the south, I honestly think I've had polenta far more times than I've ever had grits. I love sausage and cheese and this recipe looks like one I would be more than willing to give a try. I think I might add a bit of green pepper and chopped onion (regular or green) to the mix as well.

I am going to have to try this recipe soon. I love grits but my husband does not. Have been trying to get him to try them and I think this combination of sausage and cheese just might do the trick. Wish me luck!
