Golden Green Bean Casserole
Sometimes the comfort of long-time traditional side dishes is the perfect solution for a family meal. Enjoy this variation as well. Complete with french fried onions.

Ingredients
- 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped red pepper
- 4 cups cooked cut green beans
- 1 1/3 cup French's French Fried Onions
Instructions

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F.

Stir the soup, milk, black pepper, red pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.

Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.

This is a good, basic recipe for green bean casserole. Most people will recognize this as the traditional standby side dish served at Thanksgiving. Since this only makes 6 servings, it would be a good idea to double or triple this recipe as needed. When making this, I would use skim milk and add fresh sliced mushrooms to the recipe to make it more interesting.
