I know I've had this before, just looking at the photos, and I've always wondered exactly how this was made. I think a local candy company made this for the holidays, but I'm not sure it was a year-round item. I recall having this among other candies at Christmastime and I think I might give this a try this year if I'm feeling particularly adventurous in the kitchen this holiday season.

Why would you post a sponge candy receipt in June? Humidity is way too high to make it Every candy maker in the buffalo area stops making sponge candy in the summer it can't be done
