Strawberry Shortcake in a Jar

This reminds me of a tea cake that would fit in a secret garden in a childhood story. Like in any fairy tale, if you look closely, you'll find something new every time. On this little jar is an etched strawberry, right smack in the middle but easy to miss upon first glance. It is as tiny as it looks and the cutest treat for those who believe.

I really like the idea of making a dessert in a jar. This strawberry shortcake is so cute and portable. You won't need to worry about making a big mess.
