This isn't the tidiest icebox cake I've ever seen, but it certainly looks delicious. How can you go wrong with whipped cream and chocolate wafers? I would definitely keep this in the freezer as long as possible before serving. I think some slivered almonds along with the chocolate shavings would be a nice garnish for the cake. The photo seems to indicate that the wafers are arranged so they taper to the top, and that looks rather pleasing. Maybe have some cherries in the center of the top?
