Famous Chocolate Magic Cake Recipe

You have to make it to believe it! This tasty magic cake is out of this world.

One look at this Famous Chocolate Magic Cake Recipe and you won't believe your eyes. How does it get those 3 distinct layers from just one batter? Just like a magician never reveals his secret, you can choose to keep the recipe to yourself and share just the cake! Or, if you're feeling generous, share the recipe with a few of your most trusted friends or family.
Once you learn how this magic cake is made it may lose some of its initial charms but one thing will remain constant, and that's its deliciousness. This recipe is easily adapted to take on a variety of different flavors, but what makes this one famous the cocoa powder and its unbelievably rich and chocolatey flavor.

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.

  2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish well with butter and then line it with parchment paper.

  3. In a large bowl, whip egg whites with a whisk until soft peaks form.

  4. In another bowl, combine egg yolks, water, sugar, and vanilla until well combined. Next, Stir in melted butter. Add cocoa powder and mix well. Slowly stir in the flour until well combined.

  5. Add the milk and mix until well incorporated. The mixture will be VERY liquidy -- do not be alarmed.

  6. Carefully fold in the egg whites using a spatula. There will be small lumps.

  7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60 minutes.

  8. Cool in the pan for at least 3 hours. Sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
