Ingredients

  • Ingredients for the Crust:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • For the Brownies:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 11x7-inch baking dish.

Can I use a whole wheat flour in this recipe, or is it something I have to use a regular white flour for? I love that you used the dark chocolate in this recipe because that is my favorite chocolate. I love brownies and shortbread, so this is going to be an interesting mix to try. I can't wait til this weekend when I have the time to make this dessert.
