Easy Gluten-Free Brownies

This is quite possibly one of the best recipes for homemade brownies. These Easy, Gluten-Free Brownies are sure to blow you away. Simple to create, these chocolatey, gooey treats are practically perfect - all they need is a nice, tall glass of milk. These from scratch brownies are deliciously chewy and walnuts give them a great flavor and an even better crunch. Make sure you make more than enough of this awesome dessert. They will disappear faster than you can make them.

Cooking Time25 min

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup rice flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder, heaped
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Powdered Sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Melt the butter and allow it to cool for about 5 minutes.

  3. In a large mixing bowl stir the eggs and sugar together vigorously. Add in the butter, cream and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

  4. Add in the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir until dry ingredients are fully blended into the wet ingredients. Stir in the chopped nuts. Bake for 25 minutes.

  5. Dust with powdered sugar when cool.

I really like that you used rice flour to make these brownies. I keep coming across recipes that use nut flour. My daughter is allergic to tree nuts, but I can use peanuts instead of the walnuts in this recipe. Do you think honey roasted peanuts would go well with these ingredients?
