This was delicious! The bread was slightlyyyy sweet, great combo for the eggs.

What a nice twist on something sweet! I'm so excited to try out savory monkey bread. This would make for an awesome potluck recipe!

I agree with another commenter that the mustard sauce might not be right for everyone. Why not just serve it in a dish on the side for dunking! I think the kids would really like this dish! I have a son who is a picky eater, and he refuses to eat eggs. I think this would be a great tasty way to get him to give them another try!

As stated, savory monkey bread is such a unique idea! It is definitely not a healthy breakfast but sounds really delicious as a nice treat! I love the use of chives to add some color and flavor. I would recommend using a creamy ranch dip as the topping if you do not want to make the suggested homemade sauce.

I have got to make this up. I like sweet versions of monkey bread, and this savory version just hits all the right buttons for me. I love having bacon and eggs for breakfast, and this recipe combines a batch of my favorites into a delicious bread to make for the morning. I'm curious about trying the glaze since that sounds really tasty. This would also be good with some fresh salsa.

I've heard of monkey bread, but I've never tried it. This savory breakfast version looks really delicious.

I tried this recipe for breakfast this morning. I substituted the bacon for breakfast sausage. It didn't come out like it should. Maybe I should have not used 4 Tablespoons of butter when using the sausage, because it is pretty greasy. When taking it out of the bunt pan it fell apart and the biscuits were still a little doughy. I also didn't let it set for 5-10 minutes to cool. It was still delicious and I made a packet of instant peppered gravy and served it on the side. Next time I try it with the bacon.

This looks very good. I will have to try it this weekend. I guess you can also use breakfast sausage instead of bacon. The sauce looks good to me, but my son would not like it. If it was just mustard maybe. I think that would be too sour with the mustard and lemon juice. I could just leave the sauce off and let them add whatever they want.

I have never seen a savory monkey bread recipe before (only sweet)! I can't wait to try this!

This is the most unique monkey bread I've ever seen! I bet it's healthier than the traditional cinnamon sugar monkey bread.
