This one that we are making is close to the famous Pork Chao Fan recipe, but with a little twist. This recipe, unlike the Pork Chao Fan recipe, does not include green peas. So, we can say that this recipe is for those who do not like green peas or do not have green peas available."

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold or leftover white rice
  • 100 grams lean ground pork
  • 1 cup chopped green onions separate the white and green part
  • 1 cup carrots chopped into small pieces
  • 1 medium chopped red onion
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr liquid seasoning
  • Cooking oil
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  1. Heat up your wok or pan under medium heat. Put the cooking oil depending on the size of your wok or pan. Let it heat up nice and hot, then add the chopped red onion. After a few seconds, add the minced garlic, and stir.

  2. Once some of the garlic turns golden brown, add the ground pork. Put salt and pepper according to taste. Cook the meat until it turns light brown in color.

  3. ▢ Add the chopped carrots, and cook it for about a minute.

  4. Add the white rice, and stir fry. Turn the heat up to medium high. You may now add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, Knorr liquid seasoning, and more ground black pepper. Mix well until all of the white rice is coated with the soy sauce and oyster sauce.

  5. Add the white part of the green onion, then the sesame oil. Stir and mix well.

  6. Add half of the chopped green onions, and mix well with the rice for a few seconds.

  7. Transfer into your serving bowls or plates, and garnish with the rest of the chopped green onions.

  8. Serve and enjoy while steaming hot!
