If you're looking for an authentic Chinese recipe, why not try these Baked Cream Cheese Wontons? This light pastry recipe takes a twist on the traditional Wontons by baking them instead of frying them. You would never guess this, however, because the outside is still every bit as crispy as the unhealthier fried version. This easy Chinese recipe with a delicious shrimp and cream cheese filling would be the perfect appetizer for entertaining large groups of people. Definitely give these Baked Cream Cheese Wontons a try for your game-day parties this season.

Wow these wontons look awesome. You can also whip them up in no time at all. My kind of snack. I would love to eat these with a nice oriental dipping sauce or even just some soy sauce. I love the fact that these are baked and not fried and can't see how baking them would change the taste so I'm very happy to make these and can't wait to eat them.

This is like Crab Rangoon except it is made with shrimp instead of crab. I love shrimp better than crab. Baking it is a great idea. Sometimes I don't do so well with fried foods. I don't like using non-stick cooking spray because of all the chemicals. But, they sell oil misters. You put the oil in it and you can spray with it so things don't get so oily like if you poured it.
