"Slow cooker corn on the cob will be your new favorite side dish. I found a new way to cook corn on the cob and thought y’all needed to know as soon as possible! It is easy, delicious, and perfect for not heating up your kitchen in the summer. Grab your corn on the cob and slow cooker for an amazing side dish everyone will love. I had my doubts on if this one would work and it it would be any good. Rest assured that I experimented with it myself and it is just as good as it sounds!"

  • Corn (shucks removed)
  • Aluminum foil
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Crock Pot
  1. Wrap each ear of corn in aluminum foil with 1/2 tablespoon of butter and salt to taste. Wrap tightly to make sure that butter does not leak out. Add all of your ears to your crock pot.

  2. Cook on low 4-5 hours or high 2-3 hours. Remove carefully from crock pot as the corn will be HOT! Serve up as a side dish for any summer meal (or heck anytime of the year works!). You will love this slow cooker corn on the cob! This is really the best way I have found to cook corn on the cob. As a bonus, there is no boiling water and no use of anything that will heat up your kitchen. That alone is a life saver in the summer.

  3. Want to kick it up a notch? Try some flavored butters instead of plain butter! Click here to see some flavored butter recipes to try. I haven’t tried any of them yet but I want to experiment with all of them. Bacon ranch corn on the cob? Yes please! Make this slow cooker corn on the cob plain or with some flavored butters that will really knock your socks off. Either way this is one recipe that is sure to please!
