Yummy these mushrooms look good. I love mushrooms as a starter. Sometimes you are so hungry waiting for your food to cook and, for me, eating mushrooms always fills that gap. They are a good side dish too. Mushrooms are so versatile. I think that garlic and cheese always make mushrooms taste better!

I have never baked mushrooms in the oven before (except, of course, in a casserole) but these are very, very nice. We did use chopped fresh garlic (the powdered is definitely not the same as a real thing!) but that was the only change we made. As an accompaniment it was delicious and I would happily recommend it to anyone.
