"Sesame rice is a flavourful rice that can be served either for lunch or dinner. This is a classic dish from South India. It is one of the dishes that has been passed on through generations, hence an heirloom recipe. I prefer using the white sesame and the polished one that we get. Dry roast the sesame seeds, until light brownin colour. You should get a good aroma of it. Grind it when cool. The other ingredients need to be separately roasted."
