"This simple sausage stir fry is a perfect quick dinner, and you can change it up with different types of sausage and veggies. This is my go-to version. This sausage stir fry is really just a starting point because you can do so many things with it. Add in peppers, broccoli, asparagus or whatever other veggies you like. Change the flavor of the sausage for a different taste entirely. Another good thing about sausage is that it keeps in the refrigerator for a while and freezes and thaws really well too. I always have a couple flavors of fully-cooked chicken sausage links on hand at any time so I can add them to a variety of recipes."

This stir fry recipe had me at the word EASY, lol! We used chorizo sausage (cos that is what we had available) and we added a crushed fresh garlic clove and chopped fresh chili (because the recipe sounded a teeny bit bland tasting). There were also some veggies ready to be used to we added those too. It is such a versatile dish you can pretty add anything you like. It is very good too!

I love recipes that provide a basic framework and then let the cook vary the details to their heart's content. This is really similar to some of the stir-fry we've done in the past using different sausages and different combinations of stir-fry vegetables. I love adding pea pods to the mix, as well as broccoli along with the usual peppers and onions. I like some of the chicken sausages we've tried, but I still gravitate towards pork sausage.

I was drawn to this recipe straight away. We love sausages in my family and this is another way to eat them! What I liked about this recipe so much is that it is quick and easy. If you have some sausages in the fridge, some rice left over from the night before, it becomes a quick, easy meal as well. I quickly whipped this up - or honestly my version of it as I just grabbed what I had lying around - and we all loved it!
