This is a different recipe for pulled pork. I always make pulled pork for company since it is a favorite. The only thing I would change about this recipe is to rub the spices on the pork before putting it in the slow cooker and then covering with the liquids. I have never used Sprite before but it will probably add a nice touch. Thank you.

I'm not a sandwich lover but I was attracted to the recipe because of the pulled pork ingredient. I've always been a lover of pulled pork whether eaten by itself or on a floss (bread topped with pulled pork). I still wanna try Paul Deen's Favorite Pulled Pork Sandwich. Cheers.

It's nice to find yet another pulled pork recipe with new ingredients. The use of Sprite is new to me, though I think I came across a recipe a while ago that used a can of Coke. The idea of msdeb21 to use root beer was also new to me. I wonder what it would be like if you used one of the hard (alcoholic) root beers for it. I love pulled pork sandwiches and this is a fun recipe to try the next time I dig out the slow cooker and make some pulled pork.

Msdeb21, I'm so happy to have found a recipe for pulled pork! I have never made it and didn't know how to make it. It certainly looks delicious. I was surprised to see a can of sprite used. I would imagine that a cider should taste good too as a substitute? I think cider and pork well together.

I'm so happy to find another great recipe for pulled pork. The recipe I usually use is just pork with root beer, cooking in the slow cooker all day. I can't wait to try this one. It sounds like it's sweet and tangy. It will be a great dinner with coleslaw.

This looks so good. I love pulled pork, and this easy video is great for showing just how to do everything.
