Being a hopeless chocoholic I knew I just HAD to make this Chocolate Cream Pie the instant I saw the title! Lol! The only amendment I made to the recipe was to make the cookie crust myself. We will have it for dessert tonight but I did have a little taste earlier - cook's prerogative! - and it tasted absolutely divine.

I did it. I made this recipe. Here is what it turned out like. Not too shabby huh? It looks exactly like the one the test kitchen made! That just proves how easy this recipe was to do and get right. It was truly decadent and delicious. The family kept wanting more.

Yummy! This chocolate cream pie looks fabulous. I'd love to try it. After watching the video it looks very simple to make. As an alternative I would make a Graham cookie crust which would give it a bit of a salty element. Served with some mocha flavored whipping cream would be such an indulgence!

Being an absolute chocolate addict, this chocolate cream pie looks incredibly delicious. I'm tempted to give this a try with a mix of dark chocolate chips with some of the Andes Creme de Menthe baking chips since I love the combination of mint and chocolate. I'd hold back a few of the Andes chips to use as a garnish on top of the whipped topping as suggested in the video.
