  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup Bisquick baking mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 (1-ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Kahula or other coffee-flavored liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • For the Chocolate Topping:
  • 1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream
  • 1 ounce semisweet chocolate square
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kahula


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients except chocolate topping ingredients in a mixer; beat at HIGH speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl often.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until puffed with a dry center. Cool 5 minutes before coating with chocolate topping.
  5. Prepare chocolate topping: Combine sour cream, chocolate and sugar in a small saucepan; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate melts.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in Kahula and vanilla; cool.
  7. Carefully spread chocolate topping on top of cheesecake.
  8. Chill for 3 hours before serving.
