My mom used to make these buns for Christmas breakfast or Easter breakfast. Did your family have a similar tradition tied to this dessert? This was something the older generation passed down, but by the time it got to me and my cousins and siblings, it was not encourage like it was when my mom was a kid. I like the buns, but it has been a long time since I had them.
