Cinnamon rolls are such a lovely treat to have when your day is full and you don't even want to walk out the door, right? I love that these cinnamon rolls come with a maple glaze recipe. I think the icing makes the cinnamon rolls because most cinnamon pastries turn out great, but the icing can be good or bad depending on what you use.

These are so good! I did replace the maple flavoring with vanilla for the icing. I prefer a vanilla frosting instead of maple. I froze these after shaping, before baking and frosting. I just set out how many I want to bake in the pan, put them in the oven, and leave them overnight. I turn the oven on in the morning to fresh cinnamon rolls. Then I make the icing and drizzle it over them. Such a wonderful hot breakfast!

My mouth is watering just looking at this picture! I am definitely going to give this recipe a go the next time I have time to make a nice breakfast. I love maple frosting and never would have thought to pile some onto a cinnamon roll.

I always make my cinnamon rolls with the rolls in the tube. They are good, but I can tell these will be GREAT. Look at all that sugar! These will be wonderful with a hot cup of coffee, or a cold glass of milk. Thanks for a wonderful recipe. We will be enjoying these on Sunday morning.

Have you tried this fabulous recipe?? My very special friend, Heather, makes the best cinnamon rolls EVER, and I think I have just found her recipe, lol! The best time to eat cinnamon rolls is straight from the oven although I have been known to reheat one slightly in the microwave if I am having it later in the day. Do try this recipe, it is really very good!

I've never tried making cinnamon rolls before even though I find them yummy. This recipe is pretty easy to follow. The 'rolling' process is the same as for currant rolls, which also have a bit of cinnamon. The dough is different currant rolls have a sweet pastry dough instead of a sweet fluffy one.

I love cinnamon rolls, especially if they have raisins in them. I want to make these and I'm going to try. I can't make up my mind whether it's going to be difficult or not but I will never know until I try. I hope it's not going to be difficult but from what I see on this site about Pioneer Woman recipes they should be easy enough. Yvonne, who submitted this recipe, said that she made these on Christmas morning. Considering everything that needs to be done on Christmas day if you can find time to bake these as well then it can't be difficult. I think it does help that you can do this task over two days so you can prepare beforehand.
