@Mybobba1 6118392 - For this recipe, use a 16-ounce pancake mix container. You add the mix once the liquid apple mixture is fully combined. Hope this helps! - RecipeLion Editors

I agree the direction are terrible, a box of pancake mix, is that after you have made it mixed.???? What size box???? I am experienced nd can't figure it out. HELP

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Ingredients * 13 x 9 inch baking dish.. Greased * 3/4 cup brown sugar * 1/2 cup water * 1/2 teaspoon cocoa * 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon * 1 cup apples (4 med. apples, a sweet type) * jiffy mix enough for 14 pancakes * confectioners sugar, if desired * Strawberry Sauce, if desired (see below) * Powdered sugar, if desired * Dairy sour cream, if desired Peel and core the apples, cutting them into narrow wedges the long way. In a blender or large bowl, mix brown sugar, water, cocoa, cinnamon, and apples until blended. Put in oven until and simmer everything for about 10 minutes or until it starts to thicken up. Remove dish from oven and immediately pour batter (If using mixer, batter may remain slightly lumpy) over apples. Then sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake in middle of oven for 20 minutes Reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake the pancake for another 10-15 minutes or until it is puffed and browned.. Sprinkle it with confectioners sugar, serve with toppings.. Serve immediately for best taste. Leftover pancake can be reheated in oven. Delicious with whipped cream. Serves 6 to 8. Many other fruits or sauces will also work: firm pears (such as Anjous), canned pineapple or cherries, frozen strawberries, blueberries and even bananas. STRAWBERRY SAUCE: 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries in syrup 2 tbsp. orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice STRAWBERRY SAUCE: Heat strawberries in a small saucepan until hot. Stir in liqueur or orange juice. Serve warm.

It would be a good idea of the temperature to cook it at AND how you cut up the apples ( minced, chunks, slices or whole). Also how much batter to use?

What temp do you have the oven? Also , it would be great if you had photos of the recipes.
