- 1 pound beef shank meat
- 1/2 pound beef kidney
- 1 c quick-cooking barley
- 7 c beef stock or broth from cubes
- salt and pepper to taste
Yield: 6 Servings. Put all ingredients in a pot. Bring to a rolling boil on high heat. Turn heat to low, simmer for 2 hours. Cool, blenderize until smooth. Reheat and serve.
