Black Bean Hummus
This special variation on hummus calls for black beans instead of the traditional garbanzo beans. This delicious appetizer takes a hint of Mexican flavors with the cilantro in the mix.
- 1 can black beans (16oz), drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 handfuls cilantro
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1 lime
- Combine beans, tahini, cilantro, garlic, cumin and juice of the lime in a food processor. Process until smooth.
- Serve with pita bread and tortilla chips for dipping.
