Woodfire Grilled Chicken
Add a smoky wood flavor to your easy chicken recipes by cooking them over a plank of wood on a grill fire. Woodfire Grilled Chicken has a mouthwatering natural flavor. Seasoned with thyme and cayenne pepper, it's robust flavor comes from the flame. Juicy and delicious, the meat falls right off the bone.
Note: Always hold water next by because cedar plank tends to burn.

- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (preferably extra virgin olive oil)
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 to 4 chicken breasts
- cedar plank, soaked in water for 2 hours
Mix dry herbs with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Slice the chicken breasts into two parts lengthwise. Cover the chicken breasts with the mixture.
Preheat grill to medium high heat. Place cedar plank with chicken on the grill and cook for 15 minutes or until the middle is no longer pink.
