"A Simple Homemade Applesauce is a sweet, wholesome treat and you won’t believe how truly easy it is to make for yourself! It is amazing how really simple this applesauce is to make! You really only need a couple of ingredients. The first, obviously, is apples. If you peel them and slice them thinly, they cook down pretty quickly. A couple of years ago, I bought myself an apple peeler to make this process a bit faster if I am making a big batch."

I love pork and therefore eat apple sauce quite often. Sometimes I haven't had some on hand and would definitely make some myself. This recipe takes a lot of apples though so I am sure you could halve that and I may add in a bit of sugar to sweeten it up.

I never knew how easy it is to make apple sauce. That is one of the things that I love about this website, it teaches the basics to a novice like me. I remember my mother using Granny Smith apples (green skinned and quite a tart flavor) and always adding a couple of cloves during the cooking period.
