Peaches and Cream Pie

This pie is a delicious combination of sweet and sour. Peaches and Cream Pie combines sweet peaches with sour cream to make a medley of flavors in every slice. If peaches and cream remind you of your favorite ice cream treat growing up, you won't be able to get enough of the same flavors in this fast and easy pie. Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • juice of 1/2 orange
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 (8-inch) pie shell
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 1/2 cups sliced peaches

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
     
  2. Blend sour cream, orange juice, brown sugar, salt and egg yolks.
     
  3. Sprinkle pie shell with 1 Tbsp flour. Pour in peaches and sprinkle with remaining flour.
     
  4. Pour sour cream mixture over peaches.
     
  5. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 minutes, then 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
