So Just Like Michelle Obama's Overnight Apple Cobbler is former President Barak Obama's favorite dessert. Well, it should be, because this was made especially for him by his lovely wife, Michelle. She probably has more time to prepare this dessert after they've left the White House to become ordinary citizens. I like the ice cream on top of the apple pie.

I agree with the author that this seems more like a pie than a cobbler. Cobblers are normally made with biscuit dough instead of pie crust. It does make enough for a nice get together. Letting the apple and spices mingle overnight together is a great idea. It really makes a difference.
