Boursin is a fun cheese spread for grown ups! There is no salt added, so the fresh herbs add tons of flavor. This is much better and cheaper than buying boursin from the grocery store. There are so many ways you can use it!

Preparation Time15 min

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 pound butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Mix together and let sit one day in refrigerator before serving.

Add to fresh mushroom caps and serve warm (bake 12 - 15 minutes at 350). Add 1 cup boursin to 1/2 cup milk and dress 12 oz hot pasta. On baked or mashed potatoes, steak, or with fine crackers.

This soft cream cheese with fresh herbs is absolutely amazing. It never disappoints a crowd and it doesn't take alot of work to make it . Serve it with literally anything you want but I think it would make a great substitute for dips so you can serve it up with some chips or crackers.
