These are proof that chocolate cupcakes can be truly magical. Chocolate Cauldron Cakes are a fun Harry Potter-inspired dessert that would be a great Halloween recipe idea. Although these cupcakes take a little time to make, the product is well worth it - besides, you'll have a lot of fun making them. Chocolate cupcakes are made from scratch, filled with a chocolate mousse and topped with chocolate buttercream. You can't get much better than chocolate inside of chocolate topped with chocolate!

My wife and I are both great fans of the Harry Potter books and movies and I could easily see us spending an afternoon in the kitchen making up They're fairly involved as an edible arts and crafts project, but they truly look absolutely adorable. Our granddaughter is also a Potter buff, and I know she'd be willing to pitch in when she comes to visit. I'm looking forward to making and decorating these.
