I'm always looking for recipes for the slow cooker. I like to get different ideas and variations of ideas to make something different. Using the cream of chicken soup in this is something different. It sounds as if it will taste really good. I also like the idea of adding cheese at the end which takes this dish to another level.

Verrrrry tasty!! AND it all cooked itself in the slow cooker while I was out at my appointments so that is a an extra gold star! We used sweet potatoes (cos of our low carb eating plan), I replaced the soup with sour cream (do not like soup as a sauce) plus we added some crushed fresh garlic. It was such a gorgeous meal and we will definitely have it again.

I am a busy working mom, so I am always looking for new and delicious slow cooker recipes to feed my family. Since it calls for only a few basic yet wholesome ingredients, it is very budget - friendly. When I made this I used cheddar cheese soup instead of the cream of chicken, and added some broccoli florets - it was great!

I love the utter simplicity of most crock pot dishes, and this is no exception. I'd probably add some crumbled bacon to the dish, since I'm honestly in the habit of adding bacon whenever the recipe allows for. From the photos, it looks like it's garnished with some parsley. I'd add some chopped green onion as a garnish as well. I'm used to recipes like this that use beef to include onion, and I think some green onion would be a nice addition.

This sounds really yummy and I love the idea of a one-pot meal that can be ready when I get home from work on a weeknight! I do find that vegetables don't cook as well in a slow cooker so I often par-cook them a bit before adding in. I bet this would also be cooked in a regular oven, or I'd really love to try it in my electric pressure cooker for a super speedy meal!

I make a beef roast with vegetables in my slow cooker, but I never think to make chicken with vegetables instead. This will make a great weeknight meal, pretty much complete in one cooker. I make meals like this year round because slow cookers don't heat up the kitchen.

I slow cooked this in the oven instead of a crock pot, and it was still delicious. It was a cooking day, and I already had the oven going and didn't have 8 hours to wait, so the oven it was. Very simple. I was able to have something homemade and comforting, warm from the oven, on a day I prep several meals and freeze things.
