This is really good, but I used fresh broccoli of the frozen. I microwaved it during the last 30 min. of cooking the meat. Then added it to the crockpot. I also doubled the ingredients. The meat came out nice and tender.

I loved the Chinese flavor in this recipe and it was easy. I froze my meat slightly so it would be easier to cut into strips. Next time I go to the store I'm going to get the stir fry meat, so this is even easier. And the broccoli does cook when you mix it in in the end, so don't put it in sooner or it will be mush. I also added a can of sliced water chestnuts at the end because I love a crunch in my chinese food.
