YUM. I am pretty picky about my cookies (soft and chewy hard and crumbly) as well as my brownies (soft and chewy cakelike... basically soft and chewy wins every time!). But these were so moist and soft and yummy and CHOCOLATEY.

These are the best chewy cookies - yumm!

There is truly nothing better than a warm chewy brownie just fresh out of the oven...but I never imagined them as cookies, and I think this recipe is going to be a huge hit in my house. I'm not a big chocolate eater but I do love it in brownies with a ton of walnuts. So, it'll be nice to have a batch of these sitting safely in my cookie jar for those day's I'm craving something indulgent. I don't think I'd add the chocolate chips to avoid chocolate overload, but I bet peanut butter chips would be amazing!

These cookies were really good! I would not have thought to make cookies with brownie mix. I will say they were a little crunchy on the outside, but if you like brownies that are on the edges of the pan and have that crunch, you will LOVE these cookies!

Can't get over how easy these were to make! They were so yummy. Next time, I am going to try adding some walnuts into mine for a little bit of an extra touch. I love nuts in my brownies, so I think this will taste good! I would also like to try sprinkling some powered sugar on top.... mmm!

So yummy! These were the perfect chewy chocolate cookies.

These cookies were so so good! I loved how the inside was chewy like a brownie but the outside had the texture of a cookie - the best mix of both!

I have made cake mix cookies before but never brownie mix cookies! I am always looking for a unique take on brownies so I will have to try these. What toppings do others recommend that have tried this recipe before?

I would try the chocolate cream cheese frosting from the brownie recipe also on this site. It's a great sounding frosting which sets on top of the brownie. I think it would be the perfect accompaniment. It is rich and decadent and indulgent. I think it will be the perfect addition to something which is crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I'm definitely going to try these two combinations.

These cookies were delicious! I loved how soft they were, and the chocolate was sweet but not overwhelming.

These were so good! They were a bit crunchy on the outside, but wonderfully chewy on the inside. Cute idea for parties!
