This recipe has a lot of steps and a lot of ingredients, but my oh my, how delicious! I would call this quite the decadent dessert. This reminds of the cream puffs I get at the state fair. This dessert will be close to that wonderful treat. I'm guessing you can't eat more than one serving at a time, but you probably want to!

I like that you actually bake the puff pastry in this. Even though it's still pretty easy, it adds a texture that you can't get from other kinds of crust.
