Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Go team! These air fryer chicken wings are your new go-to game day recipe. They're easy to make, taste delicious, and are a little healthier than your average fried wings. They also cook up in almost no time, thanks to one of our favorite new appliances: the air fryer.

Air fryers cook food by circulating hot air, resulting in food that is crispy and cooks quickly.

With this chicken wings recipe, that means you're only 20 minutes away from an easy appetizer that will have your friends and family asking for a second helping. We love the unique flavors of this recipe, too. The combination of garlic and soy sauce is fragrant and tangy, and we weren't embarrased to lick the Parmesan cheese off of our fingers. Give these air fryer chicken wings a try!

  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry, and then place it in a large baking dish. Add the soy sauce and seasonings and place in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. After the chicken has marinated, open a large Ziploc bag and add the flour and Parmesan cheese. Open a second large Ziploc bag and add the buttermilk.

  3. Dredge each of the chicken pieces in the buttermilk and then add to the bag with flour and Parmesan. Shake the bag to thoroughly coat each piece of chicken.

  4. Spray the pan of your air fryer with cooking oil. Then transfer the coated chicken wings from the bag to the air fryer pan, using tongs. Spray more cooking oil over the top of the wings.

  5. Cook the chicken in the air fryer for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

  6. Cool before serving, and garnish with extra Parmesan cheese.

I have an air fryer in my toaster oven. How do I cook them in that?
