This Perfect Tiramisu Cake is a delicious treat to serve to the family. Made for coffee lovers, Tiramisu is made with ladyfinger cookies and is a moist piece of cake that will have you coming back for more. A blend of wonderful flavors, you'll enjoy this recipe for Tiramisu.

  • 24 ladyfingers Italian cookies
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 2 pounds mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup to 2 cups of very strong coffee, preferable espresso
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 teaspoons natural vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  1. Take 9x13” dish and line the bottom of it with 12 cookies and soak them thoroughly with coffee. Beat egg yolks with vanilla and salt until slightly puffed. Continue to beat and start adding sugar bit by bit. Beat them until they double in size and become pale yellow.

  3. Cover the cookies with ½ of the batter, then arrange the rest of the cookies on top and soak them with coffee as well.

  4. Cover cookie layer with the rest of the batter and pop to fridge for at least 1 hour.

  5. Then mix sugar, cocoa powder and nuts together and cover the entire surface with it.

  6. Serve with espresso coffee and enjoy!
