This Old School Pistachio Cake is absolutely amazing. I would never have thought you cold use Bisquick for the crust. I love pistachio's and having that great flavor in cake form is great. My family absolutely loved this cake, and have requested that I make it on a regular basis. You know I will be experimenting with other flavors. It's so easy to make, why not have some fun with it.

I've found my dessert to make Easter weekend! I love the pistachio fluff dessert salad, but I couldn't think of any other way to use pistachio pudding. If it's anything like the fluff salad it will go quickly at my house. I'm surprised it's a Bisquick recipe because it seems more like one that would have a graham cracker crust.

Not much of a pistachio fan myself but the rest of my family (plus 2 visiting teenage boys) loved this so much that they ate the entire dish in one sitting! It was really easy to make, not at all fussy, and a definite hit so I have added it to my recipe list. I might try another flavor next time, my son suggests chocolate. As a self confessed chocoholic I can only agree!
