Country Cinnamon Swirl Buttermilk Loaf
"Super moist Country Cinnamon Swirl Buttermilk Loaf infused with carmelized cinnamon sugar swirls that will make your head spin! (In a good way!). Buttermilk makes it super moist and a little butter extract is used to give it a buttery flavor to go with the rich cinnamon sugar layers."

Cooking Vessel Size9x5 loaf pan
- 2 cups All purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 large Egg
- 1/4 cup Canola oil
- 1 teaspoon Butter extract
In a large bowl, combine the flour, 1 cup sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Combine the buttermilk, eggs, butter extract (optional) and oil and stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Do not overmix.
For Cinnamon Sugar Layers: In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, 3/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of brown sugar.
Spray with non-stick spray a 9X5 loaf pan and pour in half of the batter.
Sprinkle with half cinnamon sugar mix and top with remaining batter.
Sprinkle top of bread loaf with remaining cinnamon sugar and cut through with a knife to swirl.
Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes until done in middle.
Let cool 10 minutes before slicing. Yum! Great warm or room temperature!
Add glaze on either while warm or cooled. I added some while it was warm!
