Meatloaf is comfort food for many people, and this recipe is extremely easy with very few ingredients. Serve with a side of mashed potatoes and a tossed salad, and dinner is ready. The family will enjoy eating this meal. When making this meatloaf, I would use lean ground beef. Barbecue sauce can be substituted for the ketchup for the topping, if preferred.

so good when i make it for my family

Barbie Doll.even this 70 yr old fool knows that a lb of meat probably wouldn't even feed 8 kids...to I think I would probably make a larger batch!!!

@Barbie Doll: The serving size is a suggestion. If you need this recipe to feed more people, try making two meatloaves at one time! - RecipeLion Editors

Wish I could stretch 1 pound of meat to feed 8 people.

Yay deerfisherman, glad you like it! I'm happy to see the positive feedback. :)

THIS IS THE SAME RECIPE I GREW UP ON EXCEPT WE ALWAYS ADDED 1 CAN OF CAMPBELLS VEGETABLE(ABC) SOUP TO IT. EXCELLENT MEATLOAF!
