Market Day Potato Skins Appetizer

These appetizers are as fun to make as they are to eat, and everybody loves potato skins! Serve them at your next party and they'll be gone in a snap.

Serves: 5

  • 1 pound box Market Day Potato Skins #6020
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 15 (about 1/4 cup) green olive slices
  1. Prepare potato skins as directed on box.
  2. Remove from oven and immediately top each skin with a dollop of sour cream and a green olive slice creating eyeballs.
  3. Place on a platter and serve. Makes about 5 servings.

Chef 15515, I am guessing you have to make your own its easy enough bake the potatoe in oven for about an hour (cause you may want to bake a bit longer depending on what you fill it with after the enitial first baking to prepare it) at 350* (do several at a time can be stored for later use ) then allow them to cool cut in half and scoop out center leaving about a 1/4 or 1/8 0f thickness around inner skin walla you have a potatoe skin boat ready to be baked again for its crispy shell fill this with your choice of filling can be done with some vegetables like zucchini or any squash too besides just potatoes, other then this method I never saw any skins pre-made in a box or other-wise unless they were talking about a chip like potatoe skin which I don't think they are...Hope this helps.
