I would grate my own Parmesan cheese..not the pasty stuff in the green container. If you have a WalMart or Lidl near you, you can find Herbs de Provence or make your own . As far as Mayo goes, I grew up on Hellman's . That is a personal choice.

I love dressings. Anyone can throw a salad together but the dressing takes it to another level. I like the Parmesan cheese in this one. I would not have thought to add cheese to a dressing. I also think that creamy dressings on a salad make them more interesting. I would add some nice garlic croutons to this salad. Yummm

Really? This Copycat Old Spaghetti Factory Dressing has mayonnaise in their ingredients? This is interesting! I want to try this recipe one of these days to try how this mayo in spaghetti tastes like....Cheers.

Where might I find the herbs de provence that you are using here? I have heard of it before, and seen it used a lot by Jacques Pepin on television before, but I have never been able to find it in the spices and herbs section of any of the grocery stores around here. I will try to find it online the next time I am purchasing something else!

Hmmmmm...Yet another restaurant I've never been to. I'm not much of a salad dressing type of person but I absolutely love the combination of garlic and Parmesan together, and I'm thinking this is going to be wonderful and definitely worth a try. The first thing I thought when I saw this recipe was OMG...chicken wings! I can marinate the wings or chicken in this dressing and infuse the flavor into it, and after they're cooked drizzle it over top as well. Yum!

I really want to give this recipe a try. With summer coming up, I know I'm going to be eating a lot of salads, and this dressing just looks yummy. Any suggestions to what brand of mayonnaise to use? My wife and I have a preference for Duke's or one of the store Homestyle brands that we've found to be pretty equivalent to Duke's. I think this would also be great with a bit of crumbled bacon added.

This looks delicious! Herbs de provence are really the secret to most delicious things, haha

I love making Pioneer Woman's ranch dressing and I think adding parmesan cheese to it like this recipe would be awesome. I also like to add chopped up scallions to my dressing as it gives it such a fresh and vibrant flavor. Homemade creamy dressings are so much tastier than storebought ones and they are really simple to make! I'm looking forward to trying this one.

I have never had their dressing before, but it looks amazing. I love making my own salad dressings when I can. Get rid of all the chemicals and preservatives. Since I love salads, I never have to worry about it not keeping. When I get my groceries I will make sure to pick up everything I need to make this. Chef salad was already on the menu and now I have a new dressing to try.
