Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

On medium heat bring peas to boil and cook for 2-3 minutes or until soft. When peas are cooked, drain them.

In food processor chop garlic then add parsley and finely chop it as well.

Add drained peas, sour cream and season well with salt and pepper. Process ingredients until smooth.

Serve hot as you would serve mashed potatoes.

Mashed peas? This sounds like it could be an interesting concept and I can see how easily the peas would be to mash, but it still sounds a little weird...although, the sour cream could be what brings the peas into that fluffy mashed potato kinda state of creaminess. And cloves, well that's a flavor I'd never think to mix into peas but I do love it in other foods so I'm thinking it could work.

All we are saying is "give peas a chance" Sorry I couldn't resist. Seriously, mashed peas? I have to try these, the ingredients seem to be pretty straight forward, what have I got to lose? I'll try it as written first, and if need be give it a tweek here and there as I go along. Wish me luck.
