Pilgrim Turkey Loaf


  • 1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 celery rib, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 1/2 pound ground turkey
  • cranberry sauce (optional)


Makes 6 servings. Preheat oven to 375 F. In a medium bowl, blend together stuffing mix, milk and egg: let stand 5 minutes. Stir in onion, celery, parsley, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Add ground turkey and mix until well-blended. Pack mixture into an 8 by 4 inch loaf pan. Place on a baking sheet and bake until a meat thermometer inserted in center of loaf reads 180 F, about 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serve turkey loaf with cranberry sauce if desired.
