Easy Ground Turkey Pasta With Sage And Zucchini

Ingredients
- (1-pound) Extra-lean ground turkey
- 600 grams Dry linguine or tagliatelle
- 1 Zucchini, sliced
- 1 Red onion, diced
- 2 Cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 Lemon, juiced
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons Grated parmesan cheese

Slice the zucchini in half down the middle, and then into thin “half moons”. Peel and dice the red onion into medium-sized pieces.

Add the ground turkey to a large sauté pan over medium heat with 2 tsp of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Cook for about 6-8 minutes or until the ground turkey is completely cooked through but not dry.

Place your pasta in boiling water and cook according to the instructions on the package.

Remove turkey from the pan to a bowl for later use. In the same pan, add another 2 tsp of olive oil, then add the zucchini and red onion and season with salt and pepper.

Saute for about 3-4 minutes, and then add 2 cloves of minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Add the fresh sage leaves.
