Tomato Chickpeas With Crispy Fish | Classic Recipe From Jaén Spain

"These tomato chickpeas with crispy fish, known as garbanzos con tomate y bacalao frito, are filled with flavors, made with simple everyday ingredients, and all done in about 30 minutes. Serve this dish next to a garden salad and a crunchy baguette for a delicious meal. To make this recipe, I used jarred Spanish chickpeas. Which are the same thing as the canned ones. If you prefer, you can also use dried chickpeas. Just soak them in plenty of water overnight. Then simmer them the following day for 1 to 2 hours or until just tender."
