Miranda Lambert's Nonny's Tuna Salad

"If you’re looking for a dish that feels like a warm hug from your grandma—with a little Miranda swagger—look no further than Nonny’s Tuna Salad. This isn’t your basic mayo-and-tuna assembly; thanks to Lambert’s Texan roots, it’s a nostalgic, friendly—and surprisingly modern—take on the 1950s diner classic. One of my favorite summer activities is floating in the pool with a good cookbook in hand. I’d do it year-round if I could, but living in Minnesota makes that a bit tricky! I just finished reading Miranda Lambert’s cookbook, Y’all Eat Yet? Welcome to the Pretty Btchin’ Kitchen, and I have to say—it’s more than just a cookbook. It’s such a fun, heartfelt read! Yes, she shares some really awesome recipes but she also shares great stories of her life. I’ve always loved Miranda’s music but after reading this book I feel like we could be friends and hang out cooking and drinking. How to Enjoy It Classic sandwich: Layer on whole-grain or sourdough bread. Bonus points on toasted slices! Lettuce wraps: Perfect for a lighter, low-carb option. Party dipper: Serve in a bowl surrounded by crackers, celery sticks, and sliced veggies. Meal prep: Makes 3–4 days of grab-and-go lunches—high‑protein and satisfying. "
