There are a lot of ingredients in this salad dressing but it does sound good. I would like to try it. We don't have Olive Garden in South Africa but I have heard of how nice it is. I would definitely try a "famous" tried and tested, popular salad dressing and use it to impress my friends!

I tried this recipe and it has a hint of the Olive Garden salad dressing, but not quite. The vinegar is way too much. It overpowers the salad. I even tried adjusting the ingredients, but was still the same. It didn't stick to the salad very well, it just stayed at the bottom of the bowl.

While this is a nice dressing, the only resemblence to Olive Garden's is that they are both salad dressings. It's as close to O.G.'s as ranch dressing.

there is no mayo in the olive garden dressing ,it's a Italain based dressing which means olive oil and vinger with herbs in it.

This recipe tastes really good, but it is not at all like Olive Garden's. I followed the recipe as written. It has a nice consistency, and great cheesey flavor. Would make it again, but would no pretend that it is Olive Garden's. As another person said, that is sold at Sam's Club now.

I've made this recipe and it's very good. However, Sam's Club now sells the "real" Olive Garden salad dressing and it's now a staple in my home.
