Mix flour with water, pour into a glass or stoneware jar, leave in a warm place. Let it go sour - nice soury taste. This is what you use to make zur (it is a base like broth). Zur with Milk 1/2 L milk 1/2 L zur 2 dkg flour 1/4 L water 1/8-1/4 L sour cream salt Pour zur over boiling water, add flour and keep boiling for a few minutes. mix with milk and sour cream. Salt to taste. Serve with boiled potatoes topped with bacon. Zur with Sausage and/or Bacon 25 dkg mixed vegetables for soup 15-20 dkg sausage or bacon (or both) 1 1/2 L water 1/4-1/2 L zuru 80 dkg potatoes 2-3 dkg flour 1-2 clove garlic salt Cook bacon with vegetables, pour through sive, add zur, mix with flour, boil, and add salt to taste. Add cut up bacon (and sausage), and garlic. Serve with potatoes with bacon.
