Old Fashioned Toll House Pie

Chocolate and walnuts give this delicious homemade pie recipe an unforgettable flavor that has been pleasing families for years. Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 unbaked pie crust for a 9-inch pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
     
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the flour, white sugar and brown sugar; beat until well blended. Blend in the melted butter.
     
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Pour batter into one unbaked 9 inch pie shell.
     
  4. Bake for 1 hour and serve warm.

I have been making this recipe for years and everybody who has tasted it loves it. The only difference is my recipe doesn't use brown sugar just the white sugar.
