Make the vanilla pudding according to package directions. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 5 minutes or until ready to use.
Make the crumb mixture by combining powdered sugar and peanut butter using a fork or pastry cutter. Add a few drops of water at a time to help it come together. Mix until pea-sized crumbs form.
Spread half of the crumbs into your pie shell, then top with the vanilla pudding. Add half of the remaining crumbs to the top of the pudding.
Top pie with whipped topping and sprinkle with remaining peanut butter crumbs. Enjoy!
