Quick Skillet Ziti
This image courtesy of

Ground beef and pasta are a winning combination in this 4-ingredient pasta dish that is ready in minutes. One of the simplest pasta recipes that is also budget friendly, Quick Skillet Ziti is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner for two that will leave you with some leftovers for lunch the next day. Show off your legerdemain in the kitchen to your family and have dinner on the table in minutes.

Serves: 4

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 jar (24-ounces) Prego Traditional Italian Sauce or Prego Marinara Italian Sauce
  • 5 cups tube-shaped pasta (ziti), cooked and drained
  • grated Parmesan cheese, to taste
  1. Cook the beef in a 10-inch skillet until it's well browned, stirring often to break up the meat. Pour off any fat.
  2. Stir the sauce and pasta in the skillet and heat through. Sprinkle with the cheese.

Anyone who is craving baked ziti, but is limited by time, this could be your go to recipe. With such simple preparation, a beginner cook to a busy mom will really appreciate getting dinner on the table with ease. A variation to this dish could be adding sliced mushrooms.

This recipe sounds so quick and easy to make! You could probably be eating this dish in 30 minutes, including prep! Cook your pasta while you are cooking your meat, throw all the ingredients together, heat and eat. I think this also would be good with turkey and a jarred sauce.

This sounds delicious and super easy. I love fast meals, especially in the summer, so that the stove doesn't need to be on heating up the house very long.

Made this for last nite's dinner. My grown son loved it and will have leftovers tonite. So good, so easy. e.
